Abstract

To improve the condition or performance of this motor, modification experiments are needed because the power and torque of the motor have decreased. to meet certain needs, especially for motor racing, road racing, drag racing, grasstrack racing, or just for hobbies. Because vehicles or motorbikes with standard conditions are not enough. This study aims to compare the performance of the Yamaha fiz r motorbike using a standard cylinder block with a modified cylinder block variation 1, variation 2. This study utilizes an experimental approach and this research is included in quantitative research because it involves many numbers from the data. Evaluation of torque, power, and acceleration is carried out using a dynotest test tool. The results after testing obtained the best cylinder variation with a maximum torque value of 14.99 N / m at 9,320 Rpm, a maximum power of 20.41 HP at 9,700 Rpm, and a maximum acceleration of 18.47 Kph / s at 9,120 Rpm, namely on the cylinder block variation 2. However, the increase in torque, power, and acceleration increased at high engine rotation speeds, if variations 1 and std were superior at low speeds.
