Peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui supevisi pendidikan Islam juga dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Islam Ibrahimy Desa Andulang, Kecamatan Gapura, Kabupaten Sumenep. Hal itu dikarenakan kurangnya kompetensi guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Hasil observasi membuktikan bahwa dalam pembelajaran di kelas mayoritas guru kurang bisa menggunakan media pembelajaran yang relevan dengan materi yang diajarkan. Pengelolaan kelas belum terlaksana maksimal. Siswa diberi tugas lebih banyak dan kurangnya komunikasi antara guru dan siswa. Evaluasi hasil belajar siswa banyak yang tidak dikembalikan kembali kepada siswa, padahal hal tersebut sangat penting untuk bahan introspeksi dan motivasi siswa untuk lebih giat belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan supervisi pendidikan islam oleh kepala sekolah dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogic guru di SDI Ibrahimy Desa Andulang, Kecamatan Gapura, Kabupaten Sumenep. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian ini didapatkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun jumlah responden penelitian ini berjumlah 11 orang yang meliputi kepala sekolah dan 10 guru. Teknik analisis data mengadopsi teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan penarikan kesimpulan (drawing conclusions). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SDI Ibrahimy Andulang Kecamatan Gapura Kabupaten Sumenep melaksanakan supervisi dengan mengadakan konferensi individu, kunjungan kelas, dan observasi. Hal itu dilakukan dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi, guru SDI IBrahimy Andulang sudah berkompeten, namun perjalanan mereka untuk menjadi lebih profesional melalui tindakan reflektif masih panjang. Meskipun mereka belum pernah terlibat dalam penelitian tindakan kelas untuk membantu meningkatkan pengajaran, guru di SDI IBrahimy Andulang telah mampu menggunakan ICT untuk menyampaikan pelajaran dengan cara yang membuat siswa tetap tertarik dan mencegah kebosanan. Sementara itu, tantangan dalam menerapkan supervisi antara lain kurangnya semangat kerja, kurangnya kerja sama tim, kurangnya keterampilan dalam menyelesaikan tugas, kurangnya gedung dan halaman sekolah, kurangnya sumber belajar seperti bangku, kursi, lemari, serta dan jadwal sibuk kepala sekolah.
Abstract
Increasing teacher competency through supervision of Islamic education was also carried out by the Principal at Ibrahimy Islamic Elementary School, Andulang Village, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency. This is due to the lack of teacher competence in using technology in learning. Observation results prove that in classroom learning the majority of teachers are unable to use learning media that is relevant to the material being taught. Class management has not been implemented optimally. Students are given more assignments and there is a lack of communication between teachers and students. Many evaluations of student learning outcomes are not returned to students, even though this is very important for introspection and motivation for students to study harder. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of supervision of Islamic education by school principals in order to improve the pedagogic competence of teachers at SDI Ibrahimy, Andulang Village, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency. This type of research is included in qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The number of respondents to this research was 11 people, including school principals and 10 teachers. The data analysis technique adopts Miles and Huberman's data analysis technique which includes data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of supervision by the principal at SDI Ibrahimy Andulang, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency in order to improve teacher competency is by conducting classroom visits, classroom observations and individual meetings (Individual Conferences). Judging from the results of the implementation, the competence of teachers at SDI IBrahimy Andulang is indeed quite good, however, developing professionalism through reflective action is still low. Teachers at SDI IBrahimy Andulang have never conducted classroom action research to support the improvement of classroom teaching, but teachers have been able to utilize ICT in the process of delivering material so that students do not get bored with their teaching. Meanwhile, obstacles to implementing supervision include a lack of work enthusiasm, willingness to work together, skills in carrying out tasks, mastering teaching methods, understanding work goals and programs, lack of school buildings and grounds, lack of learning tools such as benches, chairs, cupboards, blackboards, and so on, as well as the busyness of the school principal.
